I was in a tour group and my tour guide spoke very good Spanish, and my sister also spoke good Spanish and translated for all of us. The drive from the main road is very scenic with several waterfalls to stop at on the way. It’s a gravel road like most in this area. The site has good parking and you have to pay 2000 pesos to get to the falls. It’s a short walk to the falls from the parking lot.
When we were there, the waterfall sprays a lot of mist, so be ready to get very wet, especially if you get too close to the falls. Be careful of the wooden planks on the ground as they’re very slippery. It’s a beautiful site and make sure you stop at some other falls along the way. – Chile Places

Located in the Valle del Huerque at the foot of the Andean mountains, Huerquehuera National Park is part of the Valle del Huerque Huerquén which is part of the temperate rainforests of the Alto Araucanjo region in the southern part of the country of Chile.
It is located 145 km southeast of Temuco, 33 km east of Pucón, and is bordered on the west by Villarrica National Reserve and on the east by Hualalapuera National Reserve. – Chile Places
70. Playa Grande
Puerto del Carmen’s main beach is tucked away from the city’s main drag, lined with the typical bars and restaurants that don’t even serve Spanish food! The beach isn’t bad at all, with nice golden sand and plenty of people lounging around on chairs and under umbrellas.
It was nice and peaceful in late February, but it’s different in high summer when I’d avoid it as much as possible. I don’t like purpose-built resorts, and there’s not much that’s authentic Spanish about this one, but everyone has their own style. – Chile Places
71. Plaza de Armas de Pucón
This is the main square and was opened very recently. It is adorned with beautiful wooden figures representing the local culture. The lights are dazzling at night and the children are playing happily. The square is adorned with lush greenery and big wooden figures that create the perfect atmosphere. As you walk through the square, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area and the volcano. – Chile Places
72. Viña del Mar
Viña del Mar, a coastal resort city north of Santiago, Chile, is renowned for its picturesque gardens, picturesque beaches, and tall buildings. It is home to Quinta Vergara Park, the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater, and the early 20th-century Vergara Palace.

73. Flower clock
Linnaeus’ flower clock is a garden plan Carl Linnaeus proposed in 1748. According to his autobiographical notes, Linnaeus discovered and developed the flower clock based on the fact that certain species of plants opened or closed their flowers at certain times of the day. Linnaeus proposed the concept of a ‘flower clock’ in 1751 in Philosophia botanica.
Linnaeus’ observations of the changing nature of plants are summarised in several publications, including Calendarium florae [‘flower almanac’] which describes the changes in nature and the botanic garden in 1755. He also describes the sleep of plants during the night in his book, ‘Somnia Plantarum’, and describes the timing of different leaf-bud bursts in various trees and bushes in his work, ‘Vernatio Arboretum’. – Chile Places
74. Quinta Vergara
The Quinta Vergara is a national park in the Chilean city of Viña del Mar. The park is home to three main attractions: the Palacio Vergara, the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater, and the Quinta Vergara Garden. The park is also the site of the viña del Mar International Song Festival. – Chile Places
75. Museo de Arqueología e Historia Francisco Fonck
The name is derived from the fact that the museum was inaugurated on the 25th of November, 1937. The museum is located at the corner of 1 Oriente and Calle 4, 784 in Calle 4, Norte at the northernmost point of the Chilean city of Valparaiso.
The name “Fonck Museum” is derived from the German physician, explorer, and Chilean political leader, Franz Joseph Fonck, who was at the forefront of the exploration of the southern part of Chile. – Chile Places

77. Wulff Castle
Wulff Castle is a historic chateau with a view of the sea. Built-in 1906, it is the seat of the city’s heritage center. The history of Wulff Castle began in 1881 when German saltpeter and coal merchant and maritime transport magnate Gustavo Adolph Wulff immigrated to Chile.
In 1904 he purchased 1,260 sq ft from a physician named Teodoro von Schroeder, located at the foot of the hill that forms the base of the city’s castle. The new house was built for Wulff’s family in 1906. In 1917 Wulff engaged the services of architect Albert Cruz Montt. – Chile Places
78. Palace of Cerro Castillo
Cerro Castillo Palace is the President of Chile’s official country residence and summer residence. It was built in 1929 in Spanish Colonial Revival style and is located on top of the Cerro Castillo Hill in the Viña del Mar area. 80. Decorative Arts Museum Rioja Palace
Rioja Palace is one of Chile’s most beautiful and historic museums. Situated in the heart of Viña del Mar city, the museum occupies the former home of the famous Rioja family, one of the most prominent families in the area. 81. Puerto Montt
The port city of Puerto Montt is located in the southern part of the Lake District of Chile. It is a strategic point of entry between the Andes mountain range and the fjords of Patagonia. The city’s main feature is the neo-gothic cathedral, constructed out of wood in the early 19th century.

Located in the Andes region of Los Lagos, Alejandro Andino National Park covers an area of 393 km2. The park is bordered on the east, south, and west by the Reloncaví estuary. On the north, the park is bordered by the lake of Chapo. The park is home to about 50 lakes and ponds. – Chile Places
85. Petrohué Waterfalls
The Petrohué Falls is a cascading chute-type waterfall located in the upper reaches of the Petrohué River in Chile, just a few kilometers from the source of the river in Lake Todos Los Santos. The waterfall is located in the municipality of Petrohue, near the road that leads to the localities of Petrohue and Petrohue on Lake Todos dos Santos.
